The electricity certificate system 2008

The electricity certificate system is a market-based support system to assist the expansion of electricity production in Sweden from renewable energy sources and peat. The electricity certificate system, 2008 describes the market status of the electricity certificate system, with statistics from 2003 to 2007. This year's special theme chapter describes current support systems for renewable electricity production throughout the EU. The report also contains expanded information and statistics on biofuels, together with a new chapter that describes planned expansion of renewable electricity production up to 2012. The chapter on consumers’ contribution to renewable electricity production has also been updated. A new feature this year is provided in the form of a number of tables at the end of the report, complementing the text.
