Accessibility report
The Swedish Energy Agency wants as many people as possible to be able to use the website. Here we describe how the website complies with the official guidelines for the public sector, any known accessibility problems and how you can report problems to us.

Our goal is to meet the official guidelines for the public sector "Guidance for web development". They're based on the international standards WCAG 2.0 level AA. 

Deficiencies in digital accessibility
There are known shortcomings in accessibility on this website. These are listed below:

Some documents are accessible but not all. Documents published before 23 September 2018 are exempt from the requirements, unless they are needed for administrative procedures within the agency´s responsibilities
Lack of contrast between text and background.

Other deficiencies
Some images lack text alternatives.
Some objects lack descriptive labels.
In some web pages the hierarchical structure of headings is not correct.
Functions are not named consistently
Insufficient link texts and link descriptions

Exceptions to the guidelines
We address the exemption for unreasonable burden, section 12 of the Act on the Accessibility of Digital Public Services.

How we tested the website
We have conducted a self-assessment (internal evaluation). The latest assessment was made on 25 June 2024.
